      Hello,

      here is the problem:
I created a book with several chapter (InDesign CS5). Each name is bold. At the end it shoud be table of content of all names in book with one character style. Names should be bookmarked. I tried this:
      – tryed IndexMatic – works good, but how to create a bookmark to names?
      – grep style to current character style – how do I create TOC from grep style

      Thanks for any answer.

      Regards,
      Janja

Are you trying to create a TOC based on Character Styles versus Paragraph Styles? InDesign can only automate table of contents via Paragraph Styles.

      I figure it out.
In the book I have two different TOC.
One is from headlines – this one is easy to make, because is based on paragraph style.
The other one is from names, which appears all over the book. They are marked with character style (made only for the names).
So, I create the document with names (based on char. style) with indexmatic plugin. Than I used quickindex, a script in indesign.
After exportnig document in pdf all link to pages were active.
It is usefull for ebooks, catalogues.

Thanks to everybody for usefull hints.
