So I have done some coding in the past but the GREP syntax really means nothing at all to me :-( so perhaps has some pointers.

I have a good sized Excel spreadsheet which is pretty well under control in terms of formatting and updating in ID but I would prefer a bit more.
Particularly this spreadsheet has many cells with “Y” and a green fill meaning yes. Currently I am using GREP to format the Y with a green background by using a wide underline character style which is really good enough but it would stand out better if the “Y” were replaced with perhaps something like “—- Y —-” which could all get the green format.
Perhaps better for a future version would be to fill the cells green but I gather that is going into scripts which is more than I can deal with at the moment and it would conflict with the alternating row fill already in place.

      Thanks, DP
