Document forced left on pasteboard when zoomed

      I use InDesign regularly. 2 days ago, when I zoomed out on a large document, the document was all the way to the left of my pasteboard instead of centered. It stays centered while working at actual size view and close up, but when I zoom to see multiple spreads, the document moves to the left instead. How the heck do I change it back. This is driving me crazy!!

      Is anything selected on the page? If something is selected (or text cursor is in text), then zooming centers that.

      It does not matter if something is selected or not. When I zoom out the document still goes to the left of the pasteboard. I am zooming out far enough to see 6 or more spreads at a time.
