PDF to Word

      I have a customer who wants to update a document with a lot of amendments but we just have a PDF. He has taken it back to Word but in doing that it has distorted the characters in the font that has been used ‘Times New Roman’. In taking it back into Indesign it doesn’t sort out the problem. Is there a better way round it or can Indesign magically sort out the issue.

      We don’t have the original document in Word to update

      Either get the original file and edit that.

      Or use a 3rd Party Tool to convert the PDF to InDesign

      PDF2ID – PDF to InDesign conversion plug-in 2025

      PDF2DTP (PDF to InDesign)

      PDF to Word is so problematic and completely the wrong workflow.
