      Hi everyone,

Bit of a general request. But how do people out there organise their stock materials, such as images, vectors and illustrations?

I am looking for a solution/application to use where I can house all of my bought items and then search them using keywords (just like any stock website allows you to) but on my desktop. I can then add my own ‘stock’ designs to them as well if I want to.

      All suggestions welcome.

I sort into assorted folders with the key names, so if I’m looking for “calculators” I can go the folder and they all have these types of images.

I think I have about 30+ category folders.

Most stock sites will embed metadata, Windows 7 does fine job of allowing me to search the folder using keywords and they pop up in the results.

For your own images, use Adobe Bridge to apply metadata to the images, then you can search for them using the computers search ability.
