      Hi All,

I am using easy catalogue to do this but I think it is a general inDesign question.

Basically Easycatalog inserts inline (as if it was text) a group of elements (text box, an img and table grouped) and anchors it in that position.

The problem is that some of this items have a different high and when placed these elements together on the page they are bottom aligned. Yes I checked the text box alignment and it is aligned by the top.

Has anyone come across this that have a solution?

      Thanks

Each inline object is treated as a piece of text, like a character. So just as the letters “Abc” sit with their bottoms along the baseline, so do the inline objects.

      Hi David,
they already behave like that, sitting at the baseline. I need them to be aligned to the top edge of the column.
the problem is that I can’t find a way to set the anchor positioning as a style of something like that.

So I am having to select item by item and and go to anchor options, change to custom, etc…

the problem is that I have 5000 products. So I was looking for an easier way to do this.

Would a baseline shift work? (It’s in the character panel) and create a style that is purely a baseline shift and then either manually add it to the anchored object you need or maybe you could write a GREP style to fin anything that is an anchored object (although i don’t know if you can). Just a thought. hope it works out
