The International Imaging Industry Association (I3A; https://www.i3a.org), the leading global association for the imaging industry, has announced the dates and location of its 62nd Annual Conference, Imaging Innovation ’08. The event will take place June 4-6, 2008 at the Vancouver Marriott Pinnacle Hotel in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. I3A members and non-members are invited to attend, as are media representatives.
The Imaging Innovation ’08 program will raise the curtain on emerging technologies such as holographics and color matching by phone, and explore new and existing areas of challenge within the imaging industry such as advanced mobile imaging technologies, security, mobile commerce and global markets. A new and exciting addition to this year’s conference is a live consumer panel that will uncover consumer perspectives about camera phone practices and performance.
As the industry’s leading standards-focused association, with active members from all sectors of the industry, I3A is uniquely positioned to survey the technical and business landscape, identify and evaluate trends and issues, and investigate what is needed for the industry to successfully navigate the continuous waves of change.
