Best wishes for all Indesign-Secrets’ Great experts and contributors . I visit IndSec everyday. It is a great site for Indesigners. I have learnt a lot of things.
I am asking here for the second time, Hope will get the perfect solution.
I have been facing one issue for some time which is very terrible for me to solve.
The problem is that I want to change the Numbers (1, 2, 3…etc.) of the whole document to another font. Until now I change them one by one. i.e. select for example “234” then go to the font menu, choose my desire font, then select another number and repeat the same process. But now I am working on a magazine which has 150+ pages. So anyone can think how horrifying it is to change the tens of hundreds of numbers one by one…

      Thanks so much.

If you have a paragraph style assigned to your numbers you can change the font easy.

Are the page numbers on the master pages? Dotted lines around them on the normal pages? If so, just change the font for the page numbers on the Master Pages.

I am sorry for not explaining my problem very well.
The thing I am facing is that the numbers are mixed in the text and specially are in the references. like:

        (Book Name, Vol#, P#).

All the references are of this type.

I have completed the pasting from another software by “Copy/Pasting” method. So it is impossible for me now to make a paragraph style for the numbers.

Can’t you just search for any digit and replace that way? In the find field go to “wildcards” and select any digit. And then in the replace field, put in the font you want to change it to.

So much thanks to all. Specially Dwayne. I was unaware of wildcards. Due to your help I learnt many other things using these cards!

      Thanks again.
