Using XSLT to import XML to InDesign CC

I recently upgraded from InDesign CS 5.5 to InDesign CC. In CS 5.5, I was able to use an XSLT when importing XML for a publication. However, in CC, when I try to import the XML with the XSLT nothing happens. I don’t get an error message, but nothing is imported. It just remains a blank document. (The XSLT worked great in CS 5.5)

Has anyone else had this issue? Is there anything new in CC that I should be aware of when using XSLT?

      Thank you!

I haven’t heard of anything specifically about that. Are you trying to run any scripts on import? Perhaps something there is failing?

No, I’m not running any scripts. Were there any changes between versions in how InDesign processes XML or XSLT?

      Hi Asley,

Did you fix your issue with CC 2014?
I am having the same problem

      Thank

No, I was never able to find a solution. I have noticed that when my XML file is short, the XSLT will work. But what I’ve been doing is running the transformation prior to importing to InDesign.
