Pages greyed out with saving Books

      Hopefully someone can help me and my colleague out with an annoying ‘bug’ that has recently occurred with trying to save or print books. Can’t seem to find the same issue had by others online.

      The tech: Both of us using Adobe InDesign CS6, Mac pros (of differing ages & models), OS Version 10.9.2, Adobe Acrobat Pro X & XI

      Timing: Recently began (not sure when exactly), could be related to updating of system software & adobe software (all are update).

      The problem: After opening books containing multiple indd docs, we want to either print or export the book, however the pages option (under the General tab) is greyed out so we can not select the range of pages required. If we continue it usually only prints the first page.

      We can still print and export individually documents – this just happens through the Book format

      Any suggestions muchly appreciated
