Can't switch from Acrobat to InDesign via click

      I’m working between a PDF and an InDesign document, so have an Acrobat window open next to an InDesign window. When I’m in Acrobat and I click on the InDesign window to activate it, it only halfway works: InDesign becomes active (I can see the menus), but none of the toolbars or panels show up and I can’t access anything in the document. I have to switch back to Acrobat and use the OS application switcher (command-tab) to make InDesign completely active/functional. Anyone else running into this problem? I’m using InDesign CS6, Acrobat 9, and Mountain Lion, BTW. Thanks.
