Is there a way to jump to an automatic number?

      I’m currently making changes a series of books from printed proofs, and finding myself wanting to jump quickly to a number (eg instruction 23). Because the numbers were generated automatically I can’t think of a way of quickly jumping to them.

      Has anyone got any ideas?

      By the way, I’ve been reading this blog for a long time but only just joined, so thanks for many years of useful information!
