Drop Shadows Bouncing Around

Have object with drop shadows applied. When I deselect it, the drop shadow that was just defined, literally drops down lower than when it was originally defined and selected. Posedt this in InD forum and got no rseponses (that I know of).

If I save the InD CC file to .idml, then open in CS6, it’s fine and behaves properly. When I then save in CS6 and then open in CC, it’s fine.

Annoying nuisance to have to do this routinely in CC. Anything to try or bug in CC or ???

It does sound a bit like a bug, though it may be in the document not ID. What if you save as IDML and then open the IDML in CC again?

Lo Dave. Yeh, bug methinks now too. I did as you suggested…saved as idml (from the CC doc), then reopened the idml file. Still had the problem.

HOWEVER… when I saved to CC idml, then opened in CS6 (when it was fine), then saved as CS6 idml and opened in CC, it was fine.

Really weird. Happens on different types of drop shadows too… some text boxes, some graphics too.

Kinda funny having a drop shadow drop unexpectedly… (no pun intended).
