I’ve searched and can’t find details for this, but it’s a pretty old question so apologies if it’s been asked before.
For various reasons linked to our choice of CMS, the place I work is using InDesign CS4 with pages being designed in the client and then InDesign Server CS4 being used to output PDF, generate previews, merge documents etc.
It mostly works ok but we get some occasional strange behaviour with InDesign Server applying character attributes to whole paragraphs rather than just the text selected, when it looks fine in the desktop version.
The desktop app has been patched to 6.0.6 using the internal Updates option, but for InDesign Server the Adobe website doesn’t have any updates listed: https://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=31&platform=Windows
I’ve managed to find a patch to InDesign Server 6.0.4 but would expect the server version to be patched to the same level as the desktop. (I’ve even seen reference to 6.0.7 for both products but not seen any hard evidence!)
Can anyone confirm a) what the final version of InDesign Server CS4 actually was, and b) where I might be able to get the update patch from?
The software is licenced with Adobe but their support just says the product is too old and no longer supported.
