Index dissapeared

      Hi,

      I am slowly updating my old CS3 files into CS5.5 (7.5.2).

      However, the update has a habit of deleting the index (it is a multiple chapter index). Where do I find an index file, so I can retrieve and reuse the old index?

      The index is still there, but all in individual chapters, and not conflated together. How do I bring all the individual chapters together into one index? This appeared to be automatic in Pagemaker and CS3 – I have never seen each chapter- index being independent before.

      Sorry, disregard. I did not have ‘include book’ selected in the index dialogue – so it was only generating an index for the final references chapter (which has only two or three index entries).
