    I am using a long document and used shift click to place the text so that it will auto flow and create new pages and fill the document. But I am getting huge blocks of whitespace usually at the the end of the page. The text automatically re-flows to the next page and leaves this huge space empty. I am attaching an image to show the problem clearly.

    Don’t know… strange… usually happens when there is paragraph formatting (such as Keep Options) turned on (sometimes just on some paragraphs), or if there is something (sometimes hidden objects) that has text wrap somewhere on the page.

    Thanks for the reply David. It is rather peculiar. The white space appears only at the end of page. I have checked and rechecked the paragraph styles to see if I’d missed anything. I created a new document and placed the text again. Seems to have solved the problem. I’d imported a plain text file without any images. I will do some more digging around to see if I can find anything.
