      Hi there,
I am creating some documents in InDesign and my client needs to edit pricing in Acrobat. Currently I am adding the text fields in Acrobat (and it has been working fine) but I find that this is messy in terms of alignment etc. I’m thinking that there must be a way to do this in Indesign and would love to hear your suggestions. The document is image heavy with clothing items then I have the product description and price (no tables). I am using CS5.5 and Acrobat X.
Thanks in advance for your help.

I have done this before several time and I agree with you that working with form fields so someone can edit prices in the PDF is messy. The only thing I can think of is to use Acrobat XI which has greatly improved editing capabilities. Although it is by no means 100% foolproof editing a PDF has gotten better. I remember seeing some Acrobat plugins for editing PDF a number of years ago but I’m not sure what they are or if they even work with Acrobat X or XI.
