Printing Consistently 1/16" off

      I’m trying to set up a template in InDesign for a sheet of divider tabs since the prefab Word template that the dividers come with never works right. I measured out everything on the tab sheet and set up guides and margins in InDesign to match, but when I go to print everything is off about 1/16″ down and to the left. Is there a document or print setting I’m missing? I’m printing on an HP P2055 laser printer – not sure if it’s a setting from HP or an InDesign thing. For a quick fix I just shuffled everything around till it lined up properly – but I’d like to know for the future how to set things up correctly.

      Francesca,

      When you export the document to PDF, does it appear to have shifted or does it look correct?
