      Hi Everyone:

We've encountered an unusual problem at my company. We have done many conversions in the past with few problems. We use Marksware software to do them. However, recently a new client has been supplying Quark documents done in Windows. The problem is this: en spaces in the Quark files convert to the “3/4” glyph (GID 246) in InDesign. InDesign does NOT recognize the glyph (although it displays it). We have tried several search and replace methods to no avail. We have tried glyph and replace, and grep. This is not a gigantic problem, but I would like to know if anyone has encounted this problem.

      Thanks,

      Maggs

Not had that issue, but could it be a font problem not a “Quark 2 ID” problem?
