    Hi

    with the advent of Windows8, I am having to finally give up the ghost on Corel ventura (just great at doing books) and now have a huge task converting to ID.

    I can export out of Ventura and maintain it's paragraph and character style coding. These are then easy to convert into the ID styles using GREP.

    My question though is how to use the same technique to preserve, Index markers and Cross Refs.

    The ANSI codes from Ventura are:

    Index: <$[]???> forexample <$I[]Recife>

    Cross Ref (see page): <$R[P#,TT06 Recife Transport,1,,0,#1444]42> This would need to be the Hyoerlink Cross reference

    Cross Ref (marker):<$M[TT06 Recife Transport> – This would need to be the Hyperlink Anchor

    It feels that this should be possible as a GREP script but I can't figure it out.
