"Line art is tagged with an ICC profile" –> How can this be undone??

      Hi all,

“Line art is tagged with an ICC profile” is one point of an error report sent to me by a printing shop about a PDF document exported from InDesign CS5 (PDF/X-3).

It refers to a small black vector graphics logo. So “who” tagged the logo with an ICC profile and how can I remove the tag? Any ideas?

On other pages of the document there are a lot of (bitmap) pictures that I edited in Photoshop where I assigned the ICC profile “ISO coated_v2_eci.icc” to each picture (according to the printing shop's requirements).

Does anyone know what I'll have to do with that black logo to get rid of the ICC error? The logo's elements are just a few black shapes and black outlines.

      Hi,

Maybe you've solved it, but have you tried: edit menu -> assign profile -> don't color manage this document, and then “save as…”?

Uh, edit/add: maybe you'll have to uncheck “embed ICC profiles”.

(We are actually adding icc profiles to our illustrations, to make sure they are consistent in both swop and ISO printing.)
