Toggle on off Layout Adjustment

      In a recent InDesign Secrets podcasts, Anne-Marie and David commented on there being no keyboard shortcut to toggle the Layout Adjustments option in CS6.

      Here is a very short script that when saved in the Scripts Panel folder can have a keyboard shortcut attached to it to do this.

      I dont use this fearure myself, but if it helps anyone else thats a plus!

      myDoc = app.activeDocument;

      if(myDoc.layoutAdjustmentPreferences.enableLayoutAdjustment == true{

      myDoc.layoutAdjustmentPreferences.enableLayoutAdjustment = false;

      }

      else {

      myDoc.layoutAdjustmentPreferences.enableLayoutAdjustment = true;

      }

      The same, but shorter:

      with (app.activeDocument.layoutAdjustmentPreferences) enableLayoutAdjustment = !enableLayoutAdjustment;
