Adding Different numbers to 2000 cards

      A client needs 2000 business cards, all the same background, but each ones needs a different set of numbers. He sent me the list of numbers in a file. Is there a way to quickly do this in Indesign? I don't typically use this program – I prefer Illustrator, but I really don't want to copy and past 2000 different sets of numbers. HELP!
