Updating an image changes its size

      Ever since I got CS6, every time I update an image in InDesign 6, the size changes to a larger size. I already know about the “Preserve Image Dimensions When Relinking” preference. I always have that checked every time I upgrade to a new version of InDesign to avoid this headache. But this time it's not working. Any suggestions?
