Need to log every instance of an image used across many different files

      I have been tasked at work with building a metadata spreadsheet for the images we use in all of our documents. Most of the information gathering is fairly straightforward and painless, except “Image Used in Following Documents:”. Yes, I have to account for every location every image resides. The thought of searching for every instance of close to 2,000 images in over 300 documents is starting to cause a panic attack!

      So my question is this: Is there anyway to search for a single image file across multiple closed InDesign files? I use Creative Suite CS5 and all images are linked in.
