I have copied and pasted a Glossary section into my Indesign book document. It came with line spaces which are annoying. i.e. I style the word, then style the description….but have to remove spaces between the word and description, and the spaces after each description/before the next word.

This is not a Style issue. I have NO spaces added after anything.

How do I eliminate all the spaces in this particular section? Would make the styling so much easier.

You should be able to use edit > find/change to remove spaces, no?

There are lots of ways to remove spaces. For example, check out the “Remove Trailing Whitespace” option in the Query popup menu in the find/change dialog box.

Would I be assuming correctly that if I want to remove spaces in a particular section of large document (8 pages worth), I simply highlight that section first, then do the find/change?
