I have been trying to create a numbered list that follows this numbering scheme.

      3.3 Item

      3.4 Item

      3.5 Item

      However I'm getting this

      3.3 Item

      4.4 Item

      5.5 Item

Help please not sure what I need to do as I can't set the Mode in (Bullets and Numbering > Parahraph style options) to 3.3.

      Thank you.

Thanks but no matter what I try I still can only get it to either,

      • start at 3.1 then continue numbering to 3.2, 3.3 …
      • Or I can get it to start at 3.3 but then they continue as 4.4, 5.5 …

But I need it to start at 3.3 and then continue to 3.4, 3.5 … Not sure how to set it to do that.

This is how my Numbering Styles looks like.

      Format: 1, 2, 3, 4 …

      Number: ^2.^#^t

      Character Style: [None]

      Mode: Start At 3

hi, we can do the above requirement in two methods.

      1. Try like the below pic. It should work. First set “Mode: Start At: 3″ and then change it to Continues from previous.

      2. Another method is we can create two styles, one for Start at and anotehr one for Continue from Previous.

I hope this will help you,
