So a client has sparkles in his eyes as he thinks about taking his paper handout (currently in Word) and making it electronic. He's asked me to explore how this can happen… and seems to have seen some advertising for “make an iPad app easily” !!!! (doubt it very much.)
Seems to me that there are many ways to go about this. SInce I grew to trust this forum last time I had a big ID project, I've come here to ask what you think.
So the Cadillac version would be to use Adobe Digitial Publishing one-time license to create an iPad app with the video and audio on it.
A simpler option would be to create an epub (I have CS5 – not 5.5 – how much does this matter?). However, he has lots of writing exercises in this book. Somehow the users would have to have a way to write in the file and save their own version. Can I set this up in Adobe?
Another would be to simply have the book on his website in a protected area with downloadable worksheets.. but this is an Adobe forum so I wonder about Adobe solutions.
