    Using ID CS3 – cannot access “find” or “tab” dialog boxes, and now I can't copy graphs, etc. from Word (and all older imports are now grayed out boxes). Seems like every day I lose another function!

    When I use Cm-F, the Edit box flashes blue, but no dialog box appears. Same with Shft-Cm-T for tabs, Type flashes blue, do dialog box.

    I've restarted, uploaded recent upgrade, and “repaired permissions” in Disk Utility. Will re-installing from original disks correct this problem? The disks are 3.0 version; I currently have 5.0.4 available at Adobe.

    I tried that yesterday, but was only told to hold down 3 keys, not 4. Could not get the question to delete preferences.

    Voila!!! It worked today. I have my dialog boxes back! The graphs are even back! Thank you! Thank you!
