      I am doing User guides, and wanted to “do the smart thing” and keep several languages in the same file each in individual layers. Sadly I have had huge issues in getting the cross-refs working – the German refs are referring to HL as they are copied from the UK version – but even when I correct this som eof them are not working properly in the PDF AND it seems I ruin the UK refs by adjusting the German refs – at this point I have three language layers I was expecting to make 5-6 more layers – but I am afraid that no refs will work – does anyone have experience in making this work.

      I actually have “the same” issue in making Index on the individual layers – but the cross-refs are most important – can anyone help me?

      – seems it works now – i have to re-do the cross refs on each layer, I was hoping I could copy new text into the cross-ref paragraph and automatically it would be the same link in the same layer – but I have to re-define the refs it appears…
