    I am in shock!

    Somehow I must have locked my file and do not have access to it. Can someone let me know how to unlock it and give me incite as to how I managed to lock it?

    What does it mean that you locked it? Perhaps the idlk file is still there, after a crash?

    But you should be able to open it. Perhaps you need to restart your computer or repair permissions or something like that?

    I found the answer to my probelm withthe locked file. The file was actually opened /active and Indesign set up a special file that would not allow me to reopen the file.
