I am making an interactive .pdf catalog which a page transition, some simple rollover flash elements and a page header that is supposed to fade in after the page transition.

I am taking the swf elements, exporting them out and then placing them back into the document as swf files.

I can go to the preview mode and everything is working smoothly.

I will export to interactive pdf and then open the document in acrobat and everything runs so so slowly that whether my mouse triggers any type of rollerover animations is hit or miss. My page transitions carry the flash files over with them so that looks pretty bad.

I'm not sure what I am doing wrong unless I am simply just overdoing it.

I am a subscriber to Lynda.com so I've watched alot of the videos and it says all of this can be done, so I am unsure if I am missing some sort of a step, or setting?

      Some help please.
