alignment and justification trouble

      I am working with a graphic designer who is justifying the text (in order to align the paragraph text with both the left and right margins). As a result, some lines have almost no space between words and other lines have several spaces between words. I understand that justifying the text requires the spacing between words to be adjusted, but the huge discrepancies look very unprofessional. Is there a way to adjust the settings to correct this?
