SWF files don´t play on an SWF INDESIGN file (I get flash logo instead)

      Hi there :),

      I've tried for the last hours to find a solution to this on the internet, but I can'f find anywhere where this is discussed.

      I want to make a magazine with interactive content that I'l produce in flash and export to swf. I love the page curl InDesign effect so my idea is to import my SWF made in Flash To Indesign and then EXPORT the magazine to SWF so I get the interactive movies, magazine display and the page curl. It SHOULD work fine, BUTTTTT the SWF movies don't play, I just see a gray Flash logo insted, and, WHEN I CLICK on it, it plays. That´s aesthetically and practically terrible :D so… what am I missing?

      Well, something needs to tell it to play. It sounds as though you have not set it up with a proper Poster image in the Media panel. You can also use the media panel to “play on page turn” if you want it to start playing immediately.

      THANK YOU, DAVID! Both things work great! The flash logo is gone. The only detail is that the poster image appears after the page has been fully turned, not while it is turning as well. But I guess asking for that would be too much for Indesign? Or is there any way to tweak that? :)

      No, I don't think there's any way to have it playing as the page is turning… at least, not out of InDesign.
