InDesign CS3 Ad Tracking/Progress plug-in/script

      Does anyone know of a plug-in/script to track the progress of ads in ID to communicate with designers/ad reps on a newspaper network, ie: missing images, missing copy, ad sent out on proof etc,. I'm after a quick way to enter a reference number/document name and then I can get the progress quickly?

      Cost is a budgeting issue as well. Hoping someone can help
