My color flyers, brochures and business cards are all printing with a yellowish tint, both in the swatch colors and the photos. The products are not unusable, but are definitely not what they should be. This has happened with various printers, so it must be my ID settings or the pdf conversion. I'm using InDesign CS2, Photoshop CS3. Has anybody ever heard of this? Help!

My first guess would be you are using the wrong colormanagement export settings. Considering even your swatches have a yellow tint has to mean that either there is a CMYK to CMYK conversion happening which is changing your color swatches or you are maybe even using a CMYK color profile with a yellowish tint (newspaper) – but I think you would notice that because images would look less saturated.

How do the colors look like if you turn on overprint preview and soft proofing in InDesign?

      What are your colormanagement settings?

What are your PDF export settings?

In which color mode do you define your color swatches?

What color mode are the placed images?

Next time I would recommend to simply ask your printer what could have went wrong.

It could also be the wrong paper used.
