Remote Workflow solutions

      Hello InDesigners!

      This is my first time asking the hive for help. I work at a company with remote designers that use InDesign. They need to access files (indd and images files) that are on our servers. Currently they log into a remote desktop and control a computer that is in the building. This works in theroy, but is VERY slow. I was wondering if anyone has had success with any other workflows allowing remote InDesign users access to files on remote servers?

      Hi Travis,

      My company has a solution designed to make remote collaboration easy and secure along with workflow and automation.

      The product is the K4 Cross-Media Publishing Platform. If you have remote sites with multiple users, the optional Distributed Enterprise System may be very valuable for performance at local network speeds for remote users.

      I used to work for a company that used K4 with hundreds of remote users.
