Hi, I would like to add/import pages from another Indesign file into my current Indesign document. I don't want the pages linked because I will need to make changes to the pages once I've added/imported them. I'm using Indesign CS5. Any help would be much appreciated.

      Hi Mark,

Although you said you did not want them liked, you could still do it that way and if you have to edit them go to the liked file and then update the link.

Thats said because the other way is to copy and paste them into your new document, which I think will loss you your layers settings if you happen to use em.

      Drag thumbnails from pages panel

Or open the source document and the target document and (in the source doc) choose Layout > Pages > Move Pages. Then tell ID where you want to put the pages.
