    howdy peeps

    i am trying to make a mail order catalogue interactive by linking each product on the page to its counter part on the website.

    Getting a bit stuck now. I have created a blank frame with stroke around the product on the page, then added a 'new hyperlink', went through the options etc. Export to SWF. Load in OS X Chrome, the hyperlinks all work fine…

    I then try open the same SWF on a windows XP machine, IE/FFox/Chrome and the link doesn't load :S tried various options again and again. Even tried making a button around the product still no luck.

    Am i missing something? what am i doing wrong?

    The hyperlink around the guillotine ad seems to work. Do you have others?

    ha! would you look at that!! also works for me at my home computer Win7 Chrome.

    by chance what browser and OS are you using David? As i tried on WinXP and IE8 at work.

    ps ur shows are great morning drive to work listening :)

    I'm using Safari in Mac OS.

    what i have discovered so far is that

    a) IE Windows doesn't seem to load the SWF links at all

    b) some browsers will need to adjust there Flash 'Global Settings'

    Still looking for a way to not have to do (B) as some end users might get confused or not technically minded
