How to make "open" bullets? (cs4)

      Back in the day (in that other app) I used to set the character style to “outline,” but I don't see that option in ID. tks!

      I know how to do it manually with stroke & fill.

      I'm trying to set it up as char style within para style, using the bulleting & numbering options.

      You got it right: A stroke and fill. You can apply stroke and fill in the edit character style dialog box.

      How about using a Wingding for the bullet character?
