Here's a problem that a client just posed, and I couldn't think of a good answer.

He's writing a book with photos, and will be producing it on paper with low opacity. He plans to position all photos on rectos, and to keep that sheet's verso blank, to minimize show-through.

The pictures are in the text flow; they don't fill the page, and have text above and below. So he somehow needs to tell InDesign to finish the page, and skip the next.

Since the next will ALWAYS be a verso, I thought there might be some trick involving that aspect of his requirements, but I haven't come up with anything short of writing a script.

Any ideas would be most welcome.

Go through the document and delete all left-hand text frames? Hardly worth writing a script for ;)

Actually, I was wondering if there were any suggestions on how to have InDesign do this, perhaps using some style technique I'm unfamiliar with. Perhaps I was unclear; obviously he can do anything at all by hand. Like me, he prefers to set things up for maximum automation so future designs can be accomodated with minimum adjustments. If there's no straighforward way, and if it's something one does frequently, it would certainly be worth writing a script. Why do anything over and over?
