      Hi Everyone

First posting and its a question so apologies for that. I did search about the forum and the site but did not find the solution.

I'm creating a news sheet in indesign CS4 and have a table of contents for news, funding and events and training. I can update and add a page number to each section using paragraph styles and the layout-table of contents function. What I cant seem to do is to create hyperlinks from the table of contents to each article so that when I export the news sheet as a PDF people can click to jump to that particular one. When I highlight a line in the table of contents and choose from menu type-hyperlinks and cross references the option is greyed out?

Any ideas of how to do this please?

      Nigel

You can generate Bookmarks when making the Table of Contents, in the options for Table of Contents, make sure you select the Show More Options.

      Hi

Ha I just realised I had that option checked but had not checked some boxes when I generated the actual PDF. Done now and all working great.

      Thanks for the nudge!
