    Hi there everyone,

    I am designing a report with Indesign CS3 and imported text over from Word.

    I placed the text using Word 2004 and it seemed to carry with it all the superscripts, however, when I change the paragraph style to a new style, it converts the superscripts as well. (i.e. superscripts are same size a as all other text)

    I think I must be missing a check box somewhere. Any one have any ideas?

    It is generally a best practice to assign a character style to locally formatted text like superscript. You can use find/change to find the superscripts and apply a character style to them all quickly. Then when you change the paragraph style, the text formatted with character styles should not change. Yes?
