Pasteboard items don't move with pages

      Working with InDesign CS5 on a Facing pages document, I've realised that items placed on the pasteboard don't move with pages. Let's say I store images on the pasteboard, before moving them in my layout, next to pages related to these images. If I add one or more page(s) to my document, I'd expect these images to move with the pages but it doesn't. This means having to move items to match the pages they relate to.

      I did a few tests, it seems that pasteboard items (placed on the document page not on a master) only move with pages when you add a complete spread.

      If I add two pages between a spread, the items don't move and follow the change.

      If I had only one page, it doesn't follow the change as well.

      I checked the manual and some forums but couldn't find any report of that behaviour. Am I missing a checkbox somewhere?
