automate page range

      Hello, does anyone know how to automate a page range? For example, I can add automatic page numbers to a document, but I am designing an academic journal and on ever title page, it needs to have have:

      RS21 68 (2010): XX-YY

      where X = first page number of article and Y = last page number of article. Is there any way to automate this? I can't seem to find an answer. Thanks.

      It's possible, but it highly depends on your InDesign version how easy it is.

      For CS4 and later, check the Help on Cross-References. That's one way to do it.

      Jongware…. thanks. I have CS4 (and just downloaded CS5 to play with it). I will look at the cross references help. Thanks again.
