      Hello all,

Here is my problem. I have a book which is 10×8.5. I had to do a simple imposition: two pages per plate. So, I have odd plates and even plates. On the odd plates I have pg. 1 with 3, 5 with 7, etc. and the evens the reverse. When I ran the imposition plug-in, it placed these in the middle of the page, which is 13×19.3. Well, my boss tells me that I need to move the image up to the very top of the page to accomodate the platestream plate maker and the the press. I can do that by hand, obviously, but I have 136 plates. Yeah. I tried changing the top margin and the top pdf moved with it, but the bottom one stayed put. So, I tried changing the bottom margin too, but the bottom pdf stayed put again and I can't seem to get it to move with the bottom margin or with the top pdf. Ugh. So, the to the question:

“Is there a way to move all objects on all pages in a document up or down or sideways without having to do it manually?”

Thanks in advance. I hope I explained myself well.

OK, my bad. I discovered a way to do it. But maybe I'm not the only one with this problem that didn't know how to do this. There is a script in the samples folder in CS4 that is called AdjustLayout.jsx and it does just that. It adjusts the layout up, down or sideways just as you specify in the dialogue box. Hope I didn't waste anyone's time.

PS. If anyone has a better way of doing this that gives more flexibility… let me know. Thanks.
