    Hello I have an InCopy CS3 ME version, I need to use it in standard non-ME version but it ALWAYS changes my stories to right-to-left no matter what. is there anyway to toggle the ME settings?

    You mean, when you create a new text frame, it is always right to left? That is probably based on the default settings of the Basic Text Frame object style. Try creating a new object style that is set to left-to-right, then click it when nothing is selected on the page to make it the new default style.

    hello and thanks for your help.

    the problem is much more serious:

    i export assignments from indesign. the paragraph styles are all well defined and left-to-right.

    when i open the same assignments in incopy ME version it automatically re-defines the paragraphs right-to-left.

    any ideas?

    Oh! Wow… actually, I did not even know there was a ME version of InCopy. ;)

    Sounds like something you should take up with the tech support folks at WinSoft.
