FileMaker Showcases Creative Professional Solutions at HOW Conference

FileMaker will demonstrate FileMaker Pro 7 database solutions designed exclusively for creative professionals at the 2005 HOW Design Conference, Booth # 711, June 11-14, at the Hyatt Regency Chicago in Chicago, IL.
In addition, Robert MacKay, president of MacTutor ( https://www.mactutor.net/ ), will lead a seminar entitled “FileMaker: Managing Your Entire Creative Business,” Sunday, June 12, 3:45-5:00 p.m. which will provide tips on organizing a creative studio/ad agency and boosting employee productivity. Two additional classes providing hands-on FileMaker Pro 7 training for both beginners and advanced users will also be held on Sunday, June 12, at 9:00 a.m. and on Monday, June 13, at 3:00 p.m.
Booth demos of solutions serving creative professionals will include:
Praesto, a comprehensive job tracking and project management software solution created specifically for Architectural and Engineering firms from Base Builders (www.basebuilders.com); JobCharge, for job-tracking and tracking of estimates, billable hours and invoices; ActualizeIt, a cost tracking and job tracking solution for post-production video editing, from English Comp (www.englishcomp.com); Asset Tracker, a digital asset management solution that stores multiple types of media (images, graphics, video, etc.) along with related information, such as name of client, job number, thumbnail view of image (where appropriate), size, format, creation date, author, owner, and usage rights from New Century Data (www.newcenturydata.com).
