I’ve run into a problem for which I can’t seem to find an answer:

My client is buying a particular type of folding envelope (https://www.paperandmore.com/product/2125/black-solid-a7-himalaya-pocket-invitations) and need design work throughout. The paper company, however, doesn’t supply design templates for their products, so I need to create my own.

I’ve created simple and more complex templates in the past, but with this envelope I need (or want) to specify the curved flap of the envelope. Is this possible? I have CS6 and would love to know how to do this.

After struggling with shapes and Pathfinder in both ID and AI, I happened to recall a script that ships with CS6. It’s the CornerEffects script. You may have to play around with it a bit to figure out to the settings, but it may be just the ticket.

      Good luck!

I don’t think you’re going to be able to specify a rounded corner paper size in ID. Usually that’s done by overlying a die-line guide in a top layer, and working closely with your printer’s pre-press dept. to make sure you’re doing it right for their needs.
