Page Numbering Gallery
Another great resource from the mind and blog of Bob Bringhurst, Adobe's geek-in-charge for the online help files for InDesign and InCopy.
Bob Bringhurst, our bff for doing such an incredible job of making the InDesign (and InCopy) online help files as helpful and accurate as possible, has created another useful resource on his blog.
Go to his Page Numbering Gallery to see illustrated how-tos for all the different kinds of page numbering that people need to do in InDesign. As he says in the post, “I kept thinking that what people really needed was pictures of page numbering effects and brief descriptions of how to create those effects. So that’s what I’m doing here.”
It’s pretty straightforward, just example after example with a screen shot, a very brief overview, and a link to the appropriate pages in online help:
I notice that Bob created a new category in his blog called Feature Galleries, and so far this is the only article in the category. But at the end of it, he asks his audience to request additional feature galleries … what a great idea! Be sure to send him your requests (bbringhu at adobe dot com) or just write them below, as I’m sure if Bob is swamped, we can help out here!
